Lazy Croissant Bread Pudding

Ingredients

  • 4 stale croissants, torn
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla or a splash of rum

Steps

    Butter a baking dish and pile in the torn croissants.

    Whisk milk, eggs, sugar and vanilla; pour over and let it soak 15 minutes.

    Bake at 175°C / 350°F for ~35 minutes until puffed and golden at the edges.

    Serve warm. Ice cream is not optional, emotionally.
